It may be that it is not marketed towards women of color as strongly, (which is a shame since the products work so well and have safe ingredients). I want to try smooth as silk next, as I think I could use the extra protein, but I feel comfortable with this brand because I’ve liked this conditioner more than any others I’ve tried on my fine curly hair. From time to time we may have ingredient changes to some of our products due to newer more natural raw materials or botanicals becoming available.I’m able to comb my hair very easily when this product is applied, and when rinsed out my hair is extremely detangled.
