About this deal

Teh rosella terbuat dari campuran daun, kelopak, dan pucuk bunga rosella. Karena rasanya yang asam, teh rosella kerap disebut sour tea. Manfaat Teh Rosella Bagi Kesehatan Juniper: Juniperus communisis a plant that has been used for its potential health benefits for centuries. In folk medicine, Juniper is considered a urinary antiseptic and a natural diuretic. However, research results on its efficacy have been mixed. A 2021 meta-analysis conducted by the Cochrane hypertension group concluded that currently the evidence is insufficient to establish if roselle, when compared to placebo, is effective in managing or lowering blood pressure in people with hypertension. [45] An older meta-survey (2015) in the Journal of Hypertension suggests a typical reduction in blood pressure of around 7.5/3.5 units (systolic/diastolic). [46] Both cite the need for additional well designed studies. Hibiscus Sabdariffa (Roselle) is a supplemental herb that is derived from the plant's calyces, which are the collection of sepals separating the blooming flower from the stem. The calyces have traditionally been steeped into tea where the anthocyanins (red-blue pigmentation) is steeped into the water and drank for medicinal purposes. A study conducted by Odigie IP suggests that it has anti-hypertensive and cardio-protective properties that can be beneficial to people suffering from hypertension and those at high risks of various cardiovascular diseases. The treatment is dried rosella calyx and mixed with 150ml of boiling water. Rosella dose is 2 grams or the equivalent of 5 calyces, given as much as 2x/day. Administration time was in the morning (8.00–8.30 a.m.) and evening (06.00–07.00 p.m.) after meals. Treatment was given for 21 days. The appetite suppressing effects seem to be fairly reliable in rats, but caution should be taken in applying these effects to humans. Aside from not being reported as a side-effect in any human study, the bioactive known as Hibiscus Acid is similarly structured to (-)-Hydroxycitric acid from Garcinia Cambogia which is known to reduce appetite in rats reliably but not humans. One concern that does exist is testicular toxicity, which occurs fairly reliably at 200mg/kg or above in animals but has not been investigated in humans. Roselle appears to be anti-fertility in men, inducing abnormal sperm morphology. In females, there was a series of studies suggesting Roselle could cause abnormal (higher) birth weights in offspring with a delay of pubertal onset; for the most part these are attributed to the appetite suppressing effect causing maternal malnutrition, with no per se mechanisms harming the pup (via lactation) currently known. Examination of bodyweight (BW) was performed using a measuring scale weight (GEA ZT-120). Examination of blood pressure (BP) was performed using mercury sphygmomanometer (Riester) and stethoscope (Littmann). Measurement of blood glucose (BG) levels was used by the glucose oxidase (GOD-PAP) method. Total cholesterol (CT) was measured by the cholesterol oxidase-phenol aminophenazone (CHOD-PAP) method. Triglyceride (TG) levels were measured using an enzymatic colorimetric method with glycerol-3-phosphate oxidase-phenol aminophenazone (GPO-PAP). High-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels were examined using homogeneous methods. Individuals who drink herbal teas should let their doctors know, as some herbs have the potential to interact with medications.

Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, hibiscus tea can reduce blood pressure by up to 10 points, according to research done at Tufts University in Boston. For this drastic improvement to occur, you need to consume three cups every day for a few weeks. Also, hibiscus tea has diuretic properties that increase urination, simultaneously lowering blood pressure. 9. Protects Liver Jamrozik D, Borymska W, Kaczmarczyk-Żebrowska I. Hibiscus sabdariffa in diabetes prevention and treatment-does it work? An evidence-based review. Foods. 2022;11(14):2134. doi:10.3390/foods11142134 Genetic variation is important for plant breeders to increase crop productivity. Being an introduced species in Malaysia, there is a very limited number of germplasm accessions available for breeding. Other studies, including a 2014 review of a number of clinical trials, showed that consuming hibiscus tea or extract increased good cholesterol and decreased bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels.Diabetes and hypertension are lifetime risk diseases untreated but must be controlled by taking medication regularly. Drug dependence has an impact on increasing the economic burden on families and the government, drab, and emerging fear of side effects so that patients do not want to consume drugs that tend to increase the risk of complications and comorbidities. Therefore, it is very necessary to discover traditional medicines or herbal medicine that is cheap and easily cultivable. The discovery and development of herbal medicines is a priority and crucial issue in Indonesia today. Rosella is one of the most popular herbal plants in Indonesia [ 8]. Rosella has long been used to treat various diseases. Rosella is a tropical plant; therefore, drab Indonesia's tropical climate is a very fertile land for growing and developing rosella.
