DO NOT leave the star valve on the venting tube when cleaning. DO NOT use the venting tube cleaning brush to clean the star valve. These actions can damage the valve and cause your bottle to leak. We recommend a 4 inches gap to allow for ventilation, this protects your work surfaces and the unit. If you are using the correct teat, then the small slit in the star valve may be closed. It’s really easy to fix. Hold the star valve up to the light and if you can’t see the slit, pinch it gently between your fingers to re-open. If the star valve has sealed closed, your bottle won’t vent properly.

Clean all parts of the bottle and anti-colic venting system thoroughly. Please follow the special cleaning instructions. Baby bottles that’ve been sterilised in the UV steriliser may become slightly yellowed in appearance. This is nothing to worry about. The bottles are still safe to use. DO NOT shake a full bottle of feed. This can add air bubbles to the milk and force milk up the venting tube.
