Giancarlo Granda is now ready to share the story of his years on an "only in America" rollercoaster ride through the monied corridors of power and profound hypocrisy.

Amber is a annoying and childish and boring - whining about Jules how she did this and she did that. Cons: wanted to fight both of the adults, did not give a single fuck if Isaac turned up dead or alive, the ending was so random. Lucinda Berry is by far the queen of extremely dark and twisty thrillers and I can not wait to get my hands on more of her work.Others are enjoying this book more than I did, so please seek out their reviews and decide if this is the book for you. Please only post requests for suggestions, not unsolicited recommendations or “should I read this book or that book” type posts. More recently, sailors in today's round-the-world races often experience disturbing hallucinations, including seeing elephants floating in the sea and strangers taking the helm, or suffer complete psychological breakdown, like Donald Crowhurst. I would like more unreliable narrators too I think 🤔 I’ve read all of Gillian Flynn books, The Girl on The Train etc.

Jules Hart had the perfect husband and son until she went off the road into an icy lake one night and accidentally saved her neighbor’s son’s life instead of her own. Given that the conclusion was about how Isaac used video games to spread and encourage violence which then bubbled over into real life (btw there were no clues that would be the ending whatsoever, it was just tossed on in there), one of the POVs should've been his. This book is about a car accident that changes the course of the people’s lives involved and affects their families.I feel like some areas of the storyline would have been better if they were developed more rather than extra plot twists added.

This creepy, serpentine tale explores the darkest corners of parenthood and the profoundly unsettling lengths one will go to, to keep a family together―no matter the consequences. years ago, humanity didn't even know black holes existed - nor did actual photography quite exist yet. THEY DIDN'T SEND THE LETTERS DIRECTLY TO EACH OTHER FOR FEAR OF GETTING CAUGHT SO IT WAS WRITTEN IN CODES. Amber Greer’s son’s life may have been spared that night, but he was not the same boy who went into the lake. Two families who must deal with the onset of horror, loss, and psychological damage in the embers of this unspeakable incident. The pacing of this book was okay, and I found Isaac’s parents to be interesting, but everything else felt like a train wreck. First and foremost a huge thank you to Emily Silver for writing a MM romance that pulls at your heartstrings. Her two teenage passengers, son Gabe and neighbor Isaac, have their eyes glued to their phones and don't notice the deer leaping in front of their car.

The result in some instances was bloodthirsty mutinies, such as the whaleboat Sharon whose captain was butchered and fed to the ship's pigs in a crazed attack in the Pacific. This book was very unique in it's plot and the way it dives head first into some extremely dark topics - so I recommend looking up trigger warnings before going into it if need be.In this moving novel, Berry creates a beautifully crafted study of secrets and grief among a tight-knit group of friends and of how far a mother will go to discover the truth and protect her children. There is a difference between a character keeping a secret from the reader, and the author keeping a secret from the reader. If Berry isn’t chasing after her son, you can find her running through Los Angeles, prepping for her next marathon. Jules started out average and descended into madness - you might say but Karly, Jules is in a mental institution and she is indeed mental.
