There has been plenty of people trying to take him down, and he is still standing along with his Camel Club friends.

Well, it’s not Camel Club like the early ones in the series but more just Oliver Stone/John Carr and i think it works better for it. First Edition, with frontispiece and 117 plates on 62; blue cloth, backstrip lettered in darker blue, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter rubbed at edges and with loss at upper half of backstrip. I was desperate for a good book to read (as everything else4 I'd tried wa putting me to sleep); so I just jumped into this 5th book in Baldacci's Cammel Club series. An attack on Lafayette Park, aimed at the British Prime Minister, leaves Stone in the middle of it all as he gets caught in the unexpected bombing.Without his group Stone knows he can’t solve this case but in this particular situation is the gain of apprehension worth the answer to who did the deed? Stone is not his real name; he chose it because of the famous director who is also into conspiracy theories.

I get so caught up with the characters and Ron’s voice that when the book is over and you just hear him talk make this feature an unexpected touch if class, Ron, love your work . This is the 5th book in the Camel Club series after The Camel Club, The Collectors, Stone Cold, and Divine Justice. BookBrowse seeks out and recommends the best in contemporary fiction and nonfiction—books that not only engage and entertain but also deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

It's in the aftermath that Stone takes on a new more urgent assignment, to find those responsible for the bombing. Four more members get added to the club as the series progresses - Alex Ford, a Secret Service Agent; Kate Adams, Lawyer at the Department of Justice; Harry Finn, former Navy SEAL; and Annabelle Conroy, a compulsive thief. This was an amazing thriller with a political conspiracy that was so twisted, I couldn’t see, let alone guess the ending.

Stone/Carr realizes that they've helped him more than he realizes and yes, he does need them around.A lifelong Virginian, David is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Virginia School of Law.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. All of the characters interacted well together and I did not figure out who the villain was until the end. Baldacci provides a map of Lafayette Park and area around White House, particularly focusing on the Hell's Corner, in the book. Intriguing story of political mischief where the government agencies don't communicate and play well together. The fifth part of the Camel Club series, Hell’s Corner is a good, engaging read, but one that was just short of four stars.
